Bay Area-based artist Emily Armas taught herself stained glass the old-fashioned way: with a starter kit, a sketchbook and a little obsession. Inspired by the bold lines and saturated colors of American Traditional tattoos, her work transforms glass into something graphic, playful and a little unexpected.

This year, Emily brings her stained glass world to the four scents of Boy Smells’ 2026 Holiday collection: Incensorial, Xxmas Tree, Special Brownie and a limited-edition Hinoki Fantôme, transforming each vessel into a colorful objet d’art.

For the collection, Emily looked close to home, drawing inspiration from the stained glass of San Jose’s famously strange Winchester Mystery House, a childhood favorite. The result is a collection of vessels full of color, character and just enough weirdness to feel right at home with Boy Smells. 

Her personal favorite? Special Brownie. “I’m a sucker for hearts.”

An ode to late baked cravings, Special Brownie is an earthy-herbal haze that unfurls into bittersweet cocoa, then settles into smoky palo santo and creamy sandalwood. It’s giving perfectly crisped edges—intoxicating, comforting and made for melting into brownie bliss.

Our Wax Blend
We listened and we didn’t judge! 

The iconic Boy Smells candle just got an updated wax blend. The formulation was designed to enhance your fragrance experience (The throw! These candles fill your entire home), reduce the risk of tunneling (they burn even, baby!) and eliminate sooting while maintaining a perfect flame (heart eyes). 

Now vegan and non-GMO, our new wax is made with US farmed soy blend with an estimated burn time of 50 hours.

Suggested Usage
- Prior to each lighting, trim the wick to 1/4” for a clean and smoke-free burn.
- On your first light, allow the entire surface of wax to melt — Minimum of 3 hours. 
- Ensure the wick is centered before every burn
- Never let it burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Discontinue use when there is only 1/4" wax left in the vessel

Recycling Instructions
- The exterior packaging is fully recyclable
- Glass vessel can be reused as a vase, pencil holder, glass or a container for whatever you to use it for.
