BOY SMELLS LAB EDITIONS VOL. 1

CAMEO is a fresh floral/wood scent, one that combines strength and softness. The spice of crystallized ginger, hearty cedarwood, warm vanilla, and the grounding sacred feminine of rose act as conduits for compassion. Inspired by Wedgwood porcelain and the Andy Warhol polaroid of Dolly Parton, CAMEO is absurdly pretty, to a subversive degree, courtesy of its woody and spicy counterparts. Named after the 18th century stoneware pendants, depicting portraits in profile, CAMEO evokes the the pastel tones of blue and pink typical of the Neoclassical style.


FOR COMPARISION SAKE — The rose accord plays a leading role in ROSE LOAD, another fine fragrance of ours, whereas all the disparate elements (rose, cedar, ginger, vanilla, etc.) in CAMEO make this scent a strong ensemble cast deserving of a SAG award.
